The father of Jang Won-seok, the producer of the film series 'The Outlaws,' which recorded triple 10 million admissions, has passed away.
Jang Hwa-soo, the late father of Jang Won-seok from B.A. Entertainment, died today (17th) morning at the age of 84.
Jang Won-seok married actress Son Eun-seo in November 2023 in Hawaii, USA, and has started a family. Currently residing in Sangju are Jang Won-seok, his three sons, and his daughter-in-law, Son Eun-seo.
According to sources, the couple, Jang Won-seok and Son Eun-seo, is said to be preparing to welcome mourners while keeping vigil in grief.
Jang Won-seok entered the film industry in 1996 with the 'Park Bong-gon Runaway Incident' and became well-known through the blockbuster 'The King's Affection.' He later established B.A. Entertainment and produced numerous hit works such as 'Tunnel,' 'The Outlaws' series, 'The Great Battle,' 'The Drug King,' 'Casino,' and 'The Con Artists,' and also appeared in the tvN entertainment show 'You Quiz on the Block.' He is currently participating in the production of the new drama 'Signal' Season 2, which is set to air soon.
Meanwhile, the deceased's mortuary has been set up at Yonsei University Sinchon Funeral Hall in Room 2, and the funeral is scheduled for 9 a.m. on the 19th. The burial site will be at Seongnam Eternal Life Park - Bundang Rest Memorial Park.
