Actor Ben Affleck quietly spent his first birthday after divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
On the 16th (local time), Page Six reported that Ben Affleck was spotted enjoying lunch at a popular cafe in Santa Monica, California, with his two children.
It was his first birthday celebration since the divorce from Jennifer Lopez was finalized, and it marked his 53rd birthday. On this day, Ben Affleck was accompanied by his 16-year-old daughter Seraphina and 13-year-old son Samuel, while his eldest daughter Violet was not reported to be with them.
Ben Affleck completed a neat yet comfortable outing look in a white shirt, khaki pants, and sneakers. He was also seen carrying a takeout bag after finishing the meal.
This outing came a few months after Ben Affleck finalized his divorce from Jennifer Lopez in January. They entered divorce proceedings two years after their marriage and finalized the divorce five months later.
Earlier in March, he made headlines by stating in a magazine interview that he still holds respect for Lopez. He noted that he is "much quieter and more private than my pop star ex-wife. There are aspects that you have to accept from the start of any relationship."
He also mentioned regarding his divorce from Jennifer Lopez that there were "no scandals, no soap operas, and no conspiracies. People often want to find a fundamental reason for a breakup, but the truth is that it's usually much more ordinary and less interesting than most people think."
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez started dating in July 2002 and became engaged in November of that year, but they called off their engagement in 2004. He later married actress Jennifer Garner and had a marriage lasting until he became single again. In August 2022, after 17 years, he had a lavish wedding with Jennifer Lopez.
