IVE (Ahn Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, and Lee Seo) will appear on the KBS 2TV entertainment program 'Krazy Rich Korean' at 9:20 p.m. today (17th), revealing behind-the-scenes stories from the huge global music festival 'Lollapalooza Berlin.'
'Krazy Rich Korean' is a human reality show that delves deeply into the lives, philosophies, and passions of K-people who have achieved success in their respective fields. The broadcast will feature a dedicated episode for IVE, capturing not only the preparation process for their performance but also the live event, highlighting IVE's true worth as a global artist.
IVE successfully completed their first large-scale overseas festival stage at 'Lollapalooza Chicago' last year. They earned the title of emerging 'K-Peppers (festival performers)' with their high-quality live performances to match the full band play. Last month, they further solidified their position as a representative K-pop group by appearing consecutively on stages at 'Lollapalooza Berlin' and 'Lollapalooza Paris.'
As viewers' attention is focused on IVE's 'Lollapalooza' reception, a recently released trailer includes behind-the-scenes footage from their performance at 'Lollapalooza Berlin,' sparking curiosity. In the video, members express concerns about the weather, saying, 'If it even lightens once today, the performance will be canceled,' showcasing moments of surprise at unexpected situations and building anticipation for what stories will unfold in the main broadcast.
Debuting with 'Eleven' on Dec. 1, 2021, IVE made a dazzling entrance by sweeping rookie awards and grand prizes at various year-end award ceremonies. Since then, in 2023, IVE held a total of 37 performances in 28 cities across 19 countries on their first world tour 'Show What I Have,' meeting approximately 420,000 fans, and proving their global strength by being the first K-pop girl group to perform on 'Lollapalooza' stages in three cities for two consecutive years.
IVE recently confirmed their comeback on the 25th and is intensifying their final activity preparations. Having received much love from domestic and international music fans with their third mini-album 'IVE Empathy' released in February, IVE is expected to showcase an expanded and deepened musical color with their new release 'IVE Secret' and the title track 'XOXZ.'
