Kim Hyun-sook shared a story about her son after her divorce.

Kim Hyun-sook said, "(After divorcing my husband) when dad comes to Seoul, I occasionally meet him. Our son is a gourmet. He can't stand being a little hungry. On the days he meets dad, he doesn't come home until after 10 p.m."
Kim Hyun-sook said, "When he comes in, he says he's hungry and asks for food. It became a pattern. When I kept asking, he said, 'Dad is poor.' Hearing that broke my heart," she said, showing a sad expression.
Kim Hyun-sook said, "There was a time when he didn't see his dad for a long while. He always seemed prickly with me. He thought 'Dad is pitiful and mom is strong.' I asked, 'If you want, do you want to go live with dad?' and he replied, 'Why don't you want me?'
