"Crazy Rich Korean" IVE's Jang Won-young was the weather fairy.
On the 17th broadcast of KBS 2TV's entertainment program "Crazy Rich Korean" (hereinafter "CRI-CO"), IVE (IVE) grants appeared.
IVE, invited to Lollapalooza Berlin, departed for Berlin late at night for the performance.
They arrived in Berlin after a travel time of 20 hours, including layovers. However, it was raining, and while on the moving car, Jang Won-young expressed her concern, saying, "What should we do tomorrow?"
Then Lee Seo said, "But you are the weather fairy, Unnie," and Jang Won-young acknowledged, saying, "I am the weather fairy," but added, "But there's a weather demon between us, which is the problem. I was fine working alone, but there's a weather demon now," which caught attention.
Liz, who also admitted to being a "weather demon," has stirred attention for bringing rain every time during outdoor performances. As a result, Liz sighed, saying, "I'm a weather demon. What should I do?" and Lee Seo commented, "I think it will be okay on the day we perform."
In response, Jang Won-young said, "Thinking about it, isn't rain better than being under the scorching sun? I prefer the rain to the sun being scorching," revealing her positive side. In a subsequent interview, Jang Won-young laughed, saying, "I think I am rich in happy circuits."
Upon arrival, IVE found a practice room and practiced without rest for 14 songs. Then, just a day before the performance, they briefly panicked due to a sudden decision for an impromptu stage, but quickly resumed familiarizing themselves with the choreography and entered into endless practice.
On the day of the performance, after completing their hair and makeup, Liz and Rei showed signs of nervousness in the moving car. When Liz said she had slept for 11 hours, Rei revealed, "I only slept for 6 hours. I had a nightmare. I dreamed of a criminal." To this, Liz replied, "I had a dream with insects," and Rei said, "Both insects and criminals are not good."
In contrast, "Lucky Biki" Jang Won-young was comfortably sleeping in the car. She stated, "I am really lucky. I just didn't worry about the rain at all." Rei, who was listening beside her, added, "That's right. When I'm with Won-young, I feel like I am becoming luckier like 'Lucky Biki.'"
Just as Jang Won-young said, a miracle happened when the heavy rain stopped right before IVE was to take the stage. Jang Won-young reported, "Fortunately, it didn't rain during our performance, so I was very, very thankful to the heavens for that."
