YouTuber Go Mal-sook apologized after facing criticism for sexual jokes.
Go Mal-sook recently posted an apology on his personal SNS.
He said, "I am very, very sorry to those who felt fatigue and discomfort from my continuously repetitive provocative behavior."
He explained, "I thought that I had to gain views through reels or shorts for everything I grant, whether good or bad, so I thought to cross the line and deal with it, but I didn't realize that it would also harm those caught in the angle and I feel like I only pretended to be nice."
"I will be more careful in the future," he stated, adding, "I always think that I have to do well throughout the filming or recording, while often being called, and think about crossing the line, so I believe that's how I end up behaving. I ended up overwhelmed and couldn't control myself, but I will really do well now. I will upgrade my brain."
Previously, Go Mal-sook caused controversy when he made sexual jokes, such as, "When I date my boyfriend, I look cute, but once I become one, I want to get him pregnant," during content produced with acquaintances who are YouTubers on his YouTube channel "Samsipjan." In relation to this, there was criticism stating, "The jokes crossed the line," and "If the genders were reversed, the channel would have blown up."
Go Mal-sook, who operates a personal YouTube channel, has around 280,000 subscribers. He also appeared in the web entertainment show "Partner Game" with satirist YouTuber and former professional gamer Min Chan-ki.
