The photo depicted the members of the 'Documentary 3 Days' production team gathered in front of Andong Station. Initially, there was speculation that the two women in the photo were the female college students who appeared on 'Documentary 3 Days' ten years ago, but they clarified directly, saying, "All five of them are directors."
Earlier, on the 'KBS Documentary 3 Days' program broadcast in 2015, the production team shared a promise with two female college students who were ordinary participants, saying, "Make sure to shoot a documentary, and let's meet here on August 15, 2025."
As the promised date drew near, scenes from the broadcast began to resurface in online communities, and the public's interest in whether their meeting would take place grew.
In response to the public's enthusiastic reactions, KBS reuploaded the broadcast video titled, "At 7:48 p.m. on August 15, 2025, the promise of youth 10 years ago at Andong Station," on its official YouTube channel, and the cinematographer also added a statement, "After the train leaves, we have passed through nine summers, and the tenth day is approaching."
Amid this, a person believed to be one of the female college students from the broadcast left a comment saying, "I hope you all have been well over the past 10 years. We will make sure to go, so I hope the producer can come as well. I want to go back for a moment to the old days, laughing and talking with the producer," and the team of KBS2 'Documentary 3 Days' also indicated through an official social media post, "The promise of August 15, 2015, 'Let's meet here on August 15, 2025.' Therefore, we decided to leave for that place. The story of that day 10 years ago."
However, the promised location, the old Andong Station, was moved to Songhyeon-dong in 2020 and is currently operating as an art museum called 'Modi684.' On the morning of the promised day, the 15th, spectators hoping for a reunion of the 'Documentary 3 Days' production team and female college students gathered in groups at the old Andong Station, and a photo of the production team visiting the old Andong Station, captioned, "The production team of Documentary 3 Days visible as soon as we get off at Andong Station," attracted attention.
Upon arrival at the meeting place, the production team conducted a live broadcast through their YouTube channel and reported via live chat, "We heard that a woman has arrived at the scene," but the broadcast was suddenly interrupted due to a report of a suspected bomb threat, and the reunion site was controlled by the police. According to the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency, at around 7:37 a.m. on the 15th, a message saying, 'I will blow up the plaza at the old Andong Station' was posted in the YouTube live chat, and the police dispatched local police stations and a response team from the Andong Police Station, along with a police special forces unit, to control the scene and begin a search operation.
Afterwards, through tracing the threat, the police tracked down the suspect, a high school student identified as A, at his home in Dongdaemun District, Seoul, on charges of public threats. A admitted to all charges, and the police are reportedly investigating the exact motive for the act. There were no explosives, and the false threat maker was also apprehended; however, the long-awaited meeting did not materialize, causing disappointment. Meanwhile, a thought-provoking post by the production team has drawn attention to the possibility that their reunion might have been successful.
Meanwhile, KBS2's 'Documentary 3 Days: Special Edition About Time,' which will cover the reunion of the 'Documentary 3 Days' production team and female college students after ten years, is scheduled to air on the night of the 22nd at 10 p.m.
