Every Saturday, Netflix's daily variety show 'Getaway and Go with Jangdobari' raises expectations by announcing the arrival of its fourth guest dancer, Gabee.
'Getaway and Go with Jangdobari' (directed by Ryu Subin, produced by TEO) features Jang Doyoun setting off on a spontaneous trip with friends, bringing along a bag full of stories. With a concept focused on genuine conversations amidst a natural and cheerful atmosphere while visiting various stars and travel destinations, the show is generating buzz once again as Ryu Subin, who directed the popular web variety show 'Salon Drip 2', teams up with Jang Doyoun.
In the 9th episode releasing today (16th, Saturday) at 5 p.m., 'Getaway and Go with Jangdobari' features Jang Doyoun and Gabee heading to Taiwan for an unprecedented healing travel experience. Previously, Byun Yo-han, Wi Ha-jun, and Sakaguchi Kentaro appeared, showcasing their charms and chemistry, while Gabee, who joins as the fourth guest, is the program's first female participant and a 'local friend' from the same neighborhood as Jang Doyoun, hinting at an even more intimate and unique chemistry.
This trip is set up as a tailored schedule for Gabee, known as an onsen enthusiast, adding to the anticipation. Gabee, who typically lists going to the sauna with Jang Doyoun as a bucket list item, reflects this desire perfectly. Gabee has also revealed that she alleviates stress with cold and hot therapy, known as 'Dopamine Paradise', drawing even more interest.
The two will head to Wulai, a traditional hot spring village in Taiwan, where they are expected to offer a variety of experiences, including hot springs and local food. Particularly, the contrasting personalities and tension between 'Extreme I' Jang Doyoun and 'Extreme EEEE' Gabee promise to deliver a unique chemistry that feels like 'swapping between hot and cold water', adding to the humor.
Jang Doyoun, suggesting a new rule, says, "There's a limited amount of words you can say today," to which Gabee responds, "I have a condition where I break out in hives if I can't talk," humorously revealing their extremely different traits right from the start of the trip. Jang Doyoun's realistic reaction of feeling "drained" from Gabee's constant tension further highlights the contrasting charms of the two, promising to add more laughter. Coupled with local restaurant recommendations and honest conversations that have never been heard anywhere else, the show is expected to deliver even richer fun.
