Jung Il-woo, who had shown his 'competent worker' side, suddenly quits the company and faces an unexpected change.
In the third episode of the weekend drama 'Our Golden Days' (directed by Kim Hyung-seok, written by Seo Hyeon-kyeong, produced by Studio Coming Soon, Studio Bom, Monster Union), which is scheduled to air today at 8 p.m. on KBS 2TV, Lee Ji-hyuk (played by Jung Il-woo) voluntarily resigns and finds himself unemployed, following his father Lee Sang-cheol (played by Chun Ho-jin).
Previously, Ji-hyuk demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility by personally addressing company issues even on his days off. Although he proved his 'competent worker' image by receiving strong trust from partner companies, he began to feel significant pressure after hearing about Sang-cheol's unsuccessful re-employment.
The stills released today (16th) capture Ji-hyuk looking after the clumsy new employee Oh Jae-jin (played by Kim Jin-woo) as his mentor. The company's ace, Ji-hyuk, offers advice to Jae-jin, who continues to make mistakes. Jae-jin looks at Ji-hyuk's back with a meaningful expression, raising curiosity about his intentions.
Meanwhile, Ji-hyuk cannot hide his confusion upon seeing a boss who was parachuted into the company. Unable to endure the humiliation, he ultimately decides to resign voluntarily, and after a tense battle of wills, he confidently submits his resignation letter, revealing his determination to protect his pride until the end. Curiosity grows over how the father-son duo of Sang-cheol and Ji-hyuk, who became unemployed around the same time, will overcome this challenge.
On the other hand, Sang-cheol also takes action to protect his pride. Visiting the hospital with the consolation money received for the unsuccessful re-employment and a box of fruit, he suppresses his anger and firmly holds the hand of Chairman Choi, who is lying in bed. Sang-cheol's humanity moves onlookers, raising interest in how he will navigate this crisis.
