Stray Kids has unveiled the teaser for the music video of their new song 'CEREMONY' for the first time.
Stray Kids will release their 4th studio album 'KARMA' on August 22. JYP Entertainment elevated the atmosphere for their comeback a week away by showcasing the teaser for the title track 'CEREMONY' on their official SNS channel on the afternoon of the 15th.
The music video teaser is an extension of the new album trailer set in the near future, 2081. Current members Hyunjin, I.N, Bang Chan, Lino, Seungmin, Han, Changbin, and Felix, who are eligible participants in the '2081 KARMA SPORTS' as champions of 'KARMA SPORTS' from 2074 to 2080, finally revealed themselves to aim for another victory.
Felix is positioned in an elegant study adorned with trophies, I.N showcases a dazzling gold medal around his neck, Changbin appears on the ring dressed in a glamorous jacket, Bang Chan makes an entrance between the marching band and supporters, Han appears holding a ball he burst in the trailer, Lino presents a relaxed expression in a racing jacket, Hyunjin bursts forward with a furious run, and Seungmin is donned with a hockey helmet, showcasing their distinct characters to stimulate curiosity about the future storyline.
The unique visual aesthetics of Stray Kids' music videos stand out. The futuristic computer graphic artwork and direction create an overwhelming sensation for viewers. Particularly, a portion of the audio for 'CEREMONY' is revealed, increasing anticipation for the complete song. The expression "Hip hip hooray," used to celebrate or commemorate something, resounds powerfully over intense and powerful beats. Stray Kids, known as 'K-Pop champions,' recently concluded their 'largest-ever' world tour across 34 regions with 54 shows successfully, and they are hosting a celebration for their new song 'CEREMONY'.
The upcoming studio album, their first in over two years since June 2023's '★★★★★ (5-STAR)', features a total of 11 songs, including the title track directly produced by the internal production team 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. It will officially be released on the 22nd at 1 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time, midnight).
