CORTIS, the 'Big Hit Music rookie,' is drawing attention with a debut promotion of unprecedented scale.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, and Geonho) has produced music videos for all five tracks included in their debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES.' Additionally, they have prepared three conceptual performance films that showcase choreography extensively. The total number of videos set to be released is eight, making it an overwhelming amount of content that is hard to find even among established artists. CORTIS aims to imprint the team's image through creations infused with creativity and a distinctive color.
The five official music videos have been recreated on a grand scale based on footage freely taken during CORTIS's trainee days in locations such as Korea, the United States, and New Zealand. They also participated in planning and directing the content, adding a unique touch.
The members showcased their creative capabilities as co-directors and co-choreographers for the official music video and conceptual performance film of the introduction track 'GO!' unveiled on the 11th and 12th. A bold angle with a camera placed under a car highlighted the fresh ideas of teenagers.
The conceptual performance film for the title track 'What You Want' from the debut album, to be released on the 18th at 6 p.m., will feature choreography co-created by CORTIS. The five members plan to present a unique performance to a song that blends Boom bap rhythm with psychedelic rock guitar riffs from the 1960s.
The music videos for the included tracks and conceptual performance films are scheduled to be opened sequentially, and the related schedule can be confirmed on CORTIS's official social media. It is expected that the true value of the 'young creator crew' that collaboratively crafts music, choreography, and videos can be felt through this content.
Meanwhile, CORTIS's debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' will be officially released on Sept. 8. This album includes five tracks, including the title track 'What You Want,' along with 'GO!,' 'FaSHioN,' 'JoyRide,' and 'Lullaby.'
