Crossover group LA POEM has taken charge of the opening and ending of the special live broadcast commemorating the 80th anniversary of Korean liberation.
LA POEM performed 'Evergreen' and 'Champions' on the stage of the '80th Anniversary of Liberation Seoul City Commemorative Concert, We Are the Republic of Korea' held at Seoul Plaza on the 15th.
On this day, LA POEM took to the stage in white suits accented with black and decorated the opening with 'Evergreen'. LA POEM was joined by a 30-member Noah Children's Choir during the opening stage following the recitation of the Samil Declaration and completed a grand and moving performance, conveying the hopeful energy of the song with powerful voices.
The emotional resonance brought by LA POEM continued through to the ending stage. LA POEM took to the stage with soprano Jo Su-mi and powerfully performed 'Champions' along with a 50-member U-Turn Choir and a 30-member Noah Children's Choir. On the stage of 'Champions,' a song beloved as a representative anthem of Korea, LA POEM delivered a touching performance in perfect harmony with Jo Su-mi.
Meanwhile, LA POEM is expected to actively engage with the public by releasing albums and participating in various broadcasts, overseas schedules, and performances in the second half of the year.
