Actor Yoon Da-hoon shared his honest thoughts on living apart from his family.
On the 16th, a video titled "'I was told to endure only 3 episodes of 'Three Friends,' and it changed my life' - a secret revealed after 30 years" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Kim Hyun-wook's Let's Have a Drink Instead of News.'
In the released video, Yoon Da-hoon mentioned his long-lasting experience of living apart from his family and provided updates on his current situation.
Yoon Da-hoon disclosed, "I have been living as a 'goose dad' for over 10 years. My sister-in-law, daughter, and 15 relatives are all in Canada," surprising many. He added, "My family seems to be very happy there. If I have time, I go visit them, and these days, I'm having video calls often, so it's nice."
However, he also confessed his loneliness. Yoon Da-hoon expressed, "What I've lost is the family gatherings. I don't go to places where other family members are all gathered, because I miss my family too much," revealing his sorrow.
Still, Yoon Da-hoon stated, "I have no regrets. I think sending my family to Canada was a very good decision," asserting that it was a choice he does not regret. He continued, "My eldest daughter is doing well with her husband there. I haven't seen the larger world, but I wanted my children to see the bigger world, so I sent them to Canada. Whether it's early studying abroad or college, once they get permanent residency, the environment is so good, isn't it? I think that's really great."
