Actor Ryu Soo-young from "Problem Child in House" revealed that he earned more than 100 million won in royalties from his cookbook and shared a delightful story about his wife, Park Ha-sun.
On the afternoon of the 14th, in the KBS 2TV entertainment program "Problem Child in House," actor Ryu Soo-young, who gained attention for his super-simple home-cooked recipes, appeared as a guest.
Ryu Soo-young jokingly said about his real name, "While I prefer Ryu Soo-young, I also like Eonam Seon." He revealed that he originally enjoyed cooking and had previously visited Kim Suk's house to make spicy rice cakes for her.
In response, Hong Jin Kyung joked, "That lady has messy relationships," which brought laughter. Hong Jin Kyung also raised suspicion that there might have been some 'something' between Kim Suk and Ryu Soo-young due to their close friendship.
Ryu Soo-young and Kim Suk shared a unique connection as they both learned the Gayageum together. Regarding Ryu Soo-young, who joined the ranks of bestselling authors, Kim Suk estimated that he earned over 100 million won from the cookbook royalties. After four years of preparation, Ryu Soo-young said of the cookbook, "Since cooking goes into the mouth, I thought it would be embarrassing if I got it wrong, so I prepared it meticulously."
In response, his wife, Park Ha-sun, said, "I told you to write it earlier, didn't I?" showing a cool reaction that made everyone laugh. Ryu Soo-young added warmth by saying that Park Ha-sun now makes the dishes featured in the cookbook for their daughter.
