Sean, a member of Jinushan, said he will run harder in the future to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day.
On the 14th, Sean posted on his personal SNS, saying, "Sean's message. The 815 Run, which started as a half-joking, half-serious initiative with player Lee Young-pyo in 2020, has reached its sixth time. Initially, we aimed to raise 1 billion won, and in the first year, we raised 330 million won. Last year, in the fifth year, we exceeded the initial goal of 1 billion and raised 1.3 billion won, and this year, the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day, we have raised 2.1 billion won."
He went on to explain, "The reason I am challenging myself to complete the seven major marathons within a year is that it is my way of commemorating the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day. It is another letter of gratitude to those who made today's Korea possible! Therefore, for each completed race, I plan to add 1000 won for every meter, totaling 42,195,000 won for each 42.195 km. If I complete all seven races, I will add 295,365,000 won. This year, a total of 2.4 billion won will be raised."
Since 2020, Sean has been conducting campaigns to improve housing conditions for descendants of independence activists through the '8.15 Run' and '3.1 Run' on March 1 and Liberation Day each year. In addition to improving housing for descendants of independence activists, he has also donated revenue from photo shoots, sponsored children both domestically and abroad, and engaged in coal briquette delivery volunteer activities, making a significant positive impact, with the total amount he has donated reaching several billion.
Sean, who dreams of raising 10 billion won a year through the 815 Run, expressed, "Just as what began as a plan to build one house has become a task to build 100 homes, those who do it are God, so I will just strive to run 81.5 km tomorrow with a heart of obedience." He also expressed gratitude to Unknown Crew, Lee Young-pyo, Jo Won-hee, Lee Si-young, Jang Ho-jun, and Yim Siwan.

Sean's message
The 815 Run, which started as a half-joking, half-serious initiative with player Lee Young-pyo in 2020, has reached its sixth time.
Initially, we aimed to raise 1 billion won, and in the first year, we raised 330 million won. Last year, in the fifth year, we exceeded the initial goal of 1 billion and raised 1.3 billion won, and this year, the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day, we have raised 2.1 billion won.
The reason I am challenging myself to complete the seven major marathons within a year is that it is my way of commemorating the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day.
It is another letter of gratitude to those who made today's Korea possible!
Therefore, for each completed race, I plan to add 1000 won for every meter.
If I complete all seven races, I will add 295,365,000 won.
This year, a total of 2.4 billion won will be raised^^
Therefore, I will try to dream again.
I know that the God I believe in is the one who always provides abundantly, and I have experienced this many times.
I dream of raising 10 billion won a year through the 815 Run.
What started as a plan to build one house
has become a task to build 100 homes.
Those who do it are God.
So I will strive to run 81.5 km tomorrow with a heart of obedience.
Unknown Crew, who have been with me from the beginning.
Lee Young-pyo, Jo Won-hee, Lee Si-young, Jang Ho-jun, and Yim Siwan, thank you so much.
And to everyone at Unknown Crew who is with me now.
I am very grateful to all of you at Unknown Crew.
Thanks to you, I feel very supported.
I think those must be the angels God sent to encourage me on this long journey of the 81.5 km mission.
Thank you, and let's meet tomorrow with smiles.
And let's run beautifully with gratitude to God and the independence activists~ I'm sure it will go well, Korea!
Lee Young-pyo's message
Seeing things that seemed impossible from the beginning become reality as my brother runs through the path has made me admire God's plan and my brother's obedience.
Knowing that the sound of my brother's footsteps will resonate further and more powerfully than any message a Christian can shout into the world, I obey with an Amen to the year-long goal of raising 10 billion won through the 8.15 Run.
For God, for the independence activists of Korea, and for my brother's obedience and dedication, we will also run together tomorrow. Keep it up. Long live Korean independence.
