Actor Cho Jin-woong attended the '80th Liberation Day Celebration' and recited the pledge of allegiance to the national flag on behalf of others.
To mark the 80th anniversary of liberation, the '80th Liberation Day Ceremony,' held today (15th) at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul, was organized under the theme '80 years of liberation, building the future with national sovereignty.' It aimed to inherit the noble spirit of the independence movement and remind each citizen of their meaning as a sovereign, with over 2,500 attendees, including families of independence activists, key government figures, the diplomatic corps in Korea, and citizens. Among them, actor Cho Jin-woong, who participated as a national envoy during the repatriation of General Hong Beom-do's remains in 2021, recited the pledge of allegiance to the national flag.
Making a confident entrance, Cho Jin-woong recited the national ceremony in a booming voice, drawing attention with his determined demeanor. In particular, Cho Jin-woong emphasized that this is a history that should not be forgotten and is known as an actor who possesses an awareness of history.
Meanwhile, Cho Jin-woong participated as a narrator in the film 'Independence Army: The Unfinished War,' which was released on the 13th, and has confirmed his next project as the tvN new drama 'Second Signal,' aiming for broadcasting in the first half of next year, continuing his active endeavors.
