Comedian Kim Jun-ho revealed the amount of wedding gift money from his close friend Cha Tae-hyun and shared a humorous but painful behind-the-scenes story.
On the 14th, a video titled 'A treasure trove of stories disguised as a company dinner. Jun-ho Jimin EP.25' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Jun-ho Jimin.'
In the video, Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min recalled their wedding held on the 13th of last month, stating that about 1,200 guests attended. Kim Jun-ho said, "If you include those who couldn't attend but still sent wedding gift money, there are many more."
He then disclosed, "Since this is my second marriage, many people thought the wedding gift money would go to (Kim) Ji-min. However, Cha Tae-hyun only gave me 30,000 won," drawing laughter. Kim Ji-min chimed in, saying, "The rest, minus the 30,000 won, came to me."
A few days after the wedding, Kim Jun-ho reportedly called Cha Tae-hyun to question him about the "30,000 won." However, at that time, Cha Tae-hyun was filming during a break, and when Yoo Jae-seok, who was next to him, asked, "You're calling Tae-hyun first?" he quickly changed his words to "I'm sorry."
He lamented, "I was trying to talk about the 30,000 won but ended up being the one in the wrong."
Earlier, Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min held their wedding on July 13 at the Grand InterContinental Parnas Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, in the afternoon. The wedding was held privately with family, relatives, and friends, and the couple officially became 'the 25th comedian couple.'
In particular, Kim Jun-ho raised expectations, stating that the number of guests would reach a staggering 1,200. The Grand InterContinental Parnas Hotel, where the wedding was held, is a five-star hotel with a large hall that can accommodate up to 940 guests, with a venue lending fee reportedly around 100 million won and food costs amounting to 200 million won, creating a reaction of 'the most luxurious wedding ever.'
