Former national soccer player Ahn Jung-hwan spent meaningful time with his son Ahn Ri-hwan, who has grown rapidly to become a high school senior.
On the 14th, a video titled 'I had lessons and played futsal with my son during summer vacation - Ahn's diary' was released on Ahn Jung-hwan's YouTube channel 'Ahn Jung-hwan 19'.
In the video, Ahn Jung-hwan visited the Gyeongju Citizen Sports Complex with his son Ahn Ri-hwan to watch the Hwarang Cup national soccer tournament, which has about 30,000 participants. Recently, Ahn Ri-hwan was reported to have watched a match between FC Seoul and FC Barcelona wearing a Lamine Yamal jersey. Ahn Jung-hwan said, 'I have been to watch youth soccer when my son was in leisure soccer classes.' Ahn Ri-hwan also felt renewed admiration for his dad while hearing about how Ahn Jung-hwan played soccer in elementary school.
Ahn Jung-hwan and Ahn Ri-hwan watched the game together while analyzing it through the video. Ahn Jung-hwan communicated easily with Ahn Ri-hwan by explaining the game scenes, and Ahn Ri-hwan accurately pointed out, 'The number 10 is coordinating well, so the number 9 seems to be doing well.' During the game, Ahn Jung-hwan said, 'I was about 137 cm in elementary school. I couldn't grow because I didn't eat enough,' which made everyone laugh.
Afterwards, Ahn Jung-hwan met with the Gyeongju Hwarang FC players, including Ahn Ri-hwan and Kim Nam-il, and began a one-point lesson. After teaching the children about free kicks, Ahn Jung-hwan had a 3:3 match with the kids. Meanwhile, Ahn Jung-hwan married Lee Hye-won in 2001. Their son Ahn Ri-hwan drew attention by performing as the youngest trumpet player on stage at Carnegie Hall in the United States.
