"Documentary Three Days," which started broadcasting in 2007 and recorded various places across the country for 15 years, unfortunately ended due to production limits caused by COVID-19 and declining viewership. However, the episode featuring train travel to Tomorrow, which aired in 2015, began to attract renewed interest online.
At that time, the crew interviewed young people traveling across the country on the Tomorrow train and met two female college students at Andong Station toward the end of filming. The two youths promised to travel again in ten years and told the crew, "Be sure to make a documentary, even in ten years," while smiling.
In response, the crew asked, "Will we still be doing this then?" and exchanged a finger promise to meet here on August 15, 2025. This short yet profound promise exchanged among the three has resurfaced in people's memories after ten years.
Recently, the scene has been re-highlighted through social media and online communities, gaining attention. Accounts of corporations, including Albamon, Coupang, and KORAIL Retail, joined in on the reactions, and KBS released a video titled "At 7:48 a.m. on August 15, 2025, the promise of youth from ten years ago at Andong Station" on its official YouTube.
The cinematographer also left a post on their social media stating, "After passing nine summers since the train left, the tenth day is approaching," adding to the lingering sentiment. Consequently, viewers hoping to see the reunion of the female college student and the crew have shown overwhelming support, and KBS2 has officially confirmed the airing of the special edition.
Amid this, August 15, 2025, has finally arrived. The crew has already set out for Andong Station. Many are focused on whether the bond formed ten years ago will serve as the first scene of another story.
