Singer Chuu's participation in the 'My Girlfriend is the Man' OST Part.5 'Star' will be released today (14th).
The KBS 2TV Wednesday-Thursday drama 'My Girlfriend is the Man,' based on a popular Naver webtoon, captivates the audience with the deepening emotions of the protagonists and unpredictable developments in the love line.
Chuu plays the role of Minju in the drama and adds authenticity to the production by singing this OST herself.
'Star' is a song that reinterpret the original track released by Yumi in 2006 with Chuu's emotional rendition. The lyrical guitar melody is further enhanced by the orchestration that deepens as the song unfolds, delivering a profound impact, and Chuu's clear and rich vocal tone combines with delicate expressiveness to provide a resonance different from the original.
The arrangement was handled by songwriter Midnight, who has collaborated with Kim Na-young, CHEEZE, and K.Will. Having showcased sensitive arrangements through OST works for numerous popular dramas such as 'Welcome to Samdali,' 'The World of the Married,' and 'Hotel Del Luna,' he has elevated the quality of this project.
