On the 14th, the production team of the film 'No Other Choice' (directed by Park Chan-wook, provided/distributed by CJ ENM, produced by Moho Film and CJ ENM Studios) released stills of Cha Seung-won from the film. Cha Seung-won grants the role of a seasoned expert in the industry in 'No Other Choice'.
'No Other Choice' tells the story of a salaried employee Man-soo (Lee Byung-hun), who felt that he had accomplished everything, suddenly being fired and preparing for his own war toward reemployment to protect his wife and two children and to keep the home he has worked hard to acquire. Actor Cha Seung-won, who has showcased his unique charisma in films like 'Drug King' and 'The Drug King', and has built his own acting world across various genres, including dramas such as 'The King', 'Our Blues', and 'Greatest Love', leaves a strong impact with each project. This time, he will present a new acting transformation through the role of the expert in 'No Other Choice'.
The expert, who was a skilled technician handling machines in a paper factory, continues his livelihood as a shoe store manager after being laid off due to restructuring. Although he works in a completely different field, his passion for the paper industry has not faded, making him another potential competitor for Man-soo. Cha Seung-won vividly depicts the expert's human side, who is willing to set aside pride to attend to customers for sales, adding to the character's persuasive power.

Standing at a remarkable height of 188 cm, boasting a modeling background, Cha Seung-won is expected to leave a deep impression on audiences with a different charm than before.
Combining trusted actors, dramatic developments, beautiful mise-en-scène, solid directing, and black comedy, Park Chan-wook's new film 'No Other Choice' is drawing attention as a competition selection at the 82nd Venice Film Festival and the opening film of the 30th Busan International Film Festival. The film is slated for release in September.
