Eom Tae-woong's return to the screen after about nine years is unveiled.
On the 14th, a stage greeting for the movie 'Last Farewell' (Director: Lee Jeong-cheol, provided/distributed by: Studio Killer Whale Co., Ltd., SW Content Co., Ltd., produced by: Studio Killer Whale Co., Ltd., co-produced by: Elephant Entertainment Co., Ltd., SW Content Co., Ltd., distributed by: Inolm Media Co., Ltd.) was held at the Mega Box COEX in Seoul.
In attendance at the event were Director Lee Jeong-cheol, Eom Tae-woong, Park Sang-myeon, Jeon Soo-kyung, Yoon Hyun-sook, Choi Ina, Nam Dae-hyeop, Hong Jeong-min, Lee Jae-joon, Jo Jae-young, Lim Han-bin, Han Chang-min, and Kim Do-yeon.
The movie 'Last Assignment' tells the story of a teacher who becomes a temporary homeroom teacher and the children who work on their last assignment in their own colors.
'Last Assignment' is particularly drawing attention as Eom Tae-woong's return to the screen after about nine years, and the director and actors shared brief impressions.
In particular, director Lee Jeong-cheol said, "Thank you for taking the difficult steps. We filmed through a tough process. Even if there are some shortcomings, I hope you can see it as my inadequacy and leave with a joyful heart."
Eom Tae-woong said, "It was a gloomy day, but the rain has stopped. Thank you for giving us your precious time," and added, "Our movie features a child actor from 4th grade, who has now become a teenager, and I believe that the sincerity of all the actors and staff is embedded throughout the film. I hope you resonate with that sincerity while watching it."
Jeon Soo-kyung noted, "As you know, movies are tough these days. Our film is kind and harmless. It seems to be a work that needs your support even more. If you found it warm, please spread the word."
Park Sang-myeon expressed, "It feels like it's been a long time since we did a stage greeting. It's a new experience. We worked hard shooting with wonderful actors after a long time. The friends we shot with have already grown up like adults. It's a touching and family-oriented movie, so please watch it with admiration."
He also added, "What I would like to ask separately is that I will bow deeply so that the film can be successful," drawing attention with a deep bow.
Meanwhile, 'Last Assignment' will meet audiences on September 3.
