CORTIS, the 'Big Hit Music rookie,' unveiled concept photos capturing memories from the song camp.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, Geonho) posted the second concept photo of their debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' on the team's official SNS at midnight on the 14th. The members in the photo stroll through the streets of Los Angeles, exuding a carefree charm. They stimulate viewers' interest by getting into the truck's trunk or sitting atop a pipeline, showcasing a free-spirited appearance.
Los Angeles, the backdrop, is particularly meaningful as it is where the members worked on their debut album last year. CORTIS stayed here for three months, focusing on their creations. It is quite rare for a rookie yet to debut to participate fully in an overseas song camp. However, as a 'Young Creator Crew,' they drew inspiration from various urban locations and directly produced music, choreography, and videos while discovering their team identity. Los Angeles serves as the place where CORTIS solidified its direction and origin. The five members revisited Los Angeles this March, reminiscing about those memories while taking the concept photos.
CORTIS will debut by releasing the title track 'What You Want' and a conceptual performance film at 6 p.m. on the 18th. This song was born from the Los Angeles song camp. It is a declaration-like track that embodies CORTIS's determination as they step into a new world. The five members boldly declare that they will not hesitate to obtain what they desire.
The debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' will be officially released at 6 p.m. on Sept. 8. All five members have their names listed in the album credits. Many people's attention is focused on the first steps of the rookie team presented by Big Hit Music after six years.
