Actress Sunwoo Yongyeo from "Sunny Wind, Sunwoo Yongyeo" expressed that her children are the epitome of happiness.
On the 13th, a video titled "The first public reveal of Sunwoo Yongyeo's daughter's 100-pyeong ultra-luxurious LA mansion (+mother-daughter fight)" was released on actress Sunwoo Yongyeo's YouTube channel.
On her first day in America, the family had a joyful reunion, but Sunwoo Yongyeo spent the night at her daughter Yeonje's house. It was a villa in LA that spanned about 100 pyeong. The house was filled with vintage furniture, including a terrace sofa gifted by Sunwoo Yongyeo. And in the hallway leading to the second floor, unique patterned fabrics lined the walls.
Sunwoo Yongyeo noted, "This is where my daughter lives. It's a villa. Four family members live here," and "There is also a swimming pool in the villa." Choi Yeonje, who was a singer in the 1990s and currently operates a clinic in the U.S., made an appearance. Choi Yeonje introduced the most distinctive structure in the first-floor living room by saying, "The fireplace runs on gas, not wood. If you turn on the gas and strike a match, fire comes out. It's really warm. It would be good for my mom to rest her feet here."
The production team asked how they came to live in this house and what the unique patterned frame is. Choi Yeonje explained, "This house was where my in-laws lived; we hung a kimono that was spread out on the stairs leading to the second floor."
Next, Choi Yeonje directly performed acupuncture on her mother on the terrace. Sunwoo Yongyeo boasted, "When we come to LA, the sunlight is intense, so we get sunburned even in the shade. So I apply sunscreen and lie outside while Choi Yeonje gives me acupuncture," and Choi Yeonje replied, "My mom stays for about 30 minutes when receiving acupuncture, but sometimes it can be up to an hour. My mother sleeps during it."
Shortly after, scenes emerged of Choi Yeonje, Sunwoo Yongyeo, and the children moving to Malibu Beach. Choi Yeonje said, "Mom was called to be in 'History Flows,' and the team wanted her to play a mother role. I supported that idea, but she felt hurt by it. The truth is, if my mom was happy doing something in the U.S., it would be fine for us to be together, but my mom is an actress, and I could see that she missed me," reflecting on old memories. He added, "So I thought, 'What can I do to be with my mom?' That's why I became a singer."
The family arrived at a restaurant and met with their son's family. Sunwoo Yongyeo stated, "Today is my daughter-in-law's birthday," expressing pride in her daughter-in-law. The daughter-in-law shyly showed off a snake leather bag gifted by Sunwoo Yongyeo.
Sunwoo Yongyeo looked at her harmonious son and daughter families and said, "As my son and daughter have families, they take care of each other. Just accept it and cut off any feelings of being upset. You guys live hard. Just live happily and well."
As a result, the siblings reminisced about their childhood memories of immigrating and the numerous uncles and aunts they lived with at their maternal grandparents' house.
Sunwoo Yongyeo reflected, "It was so nice when just the four of us came. We didn't have our things yet, so we cooked kimchi stew and ate it on newspapers; it was so good. Just our family ate it. That's why, more than a sumptuous feast, it felt more precious when the family ate together."
