Actress Choi Yeo-jin directly clarified rumors about her husband that arose after their marriage.
In the episode of the YouTube channel 'This Is Really The Final,' released on the 13th, Choi Yeo-jin revealed, "I announced the marriage news for the first time on the broadcast without telling anyone," and continued, "I wondered if I had to reveal everything one by one. I also notified my parents of the wedding date through the broadcast."
Regarding her husband, she expressed her affection, saying, "No matter how others may perceive him, he is a warm and lovely perfect person to me," and he is, "the person who changed my definition of happiness and love." She also said, "Couples who share hobbies seem to be happy. I also like people who match my vibe."
Choi Yeo-jin laughed, saying she found the numerous speculations arising after her marriage "so absurd that it was amusing." The most ridiculous rumor was about being a 'cult leader,' which she pointed out. She explained, "My husband's company name is 'Club Eden Corp.,' and a common name became distorted, leading to rumors of a religious sect. They even reached out to ask us to deny it."
Regarding the rumor of being a chaebol's illegitimate child, she noted, "A comment in a broadcast that said, 'Isn't half of the land in Gapyeong your brother's?' was the starting point. Gapyeong being a religiously concentrated area led to chaebol rumors and cult leader stories," adding jokingly, "If that's true, I wish it were real."
On the relationship with her husband's ex-wife, she clarified, "We have grants together for the show's concept, but that is not all of the truth," and continued, "She is a year younger than me, but I have always used honorifics and have never spoken casually. It was upsetting that this happened, so my husband clarified it for me," adding, "She's just referred to as 'older sister' in terms of titles."
Choi Yeo-jin discussed the changes after marriage, saying, "I originally wasn't interested in cooking, but seeing my husband enjoy food made cooking enjoyable. I started making kimchi and looking for recipes every day," and she smiled, saying, "Mealtime is so happy."
