"Yu Quiz on the Block" host Yoo Jae-suk confessed that he had appeared on the show 'Love's Studio' in the past.
On the 13th, the tvN entertainment show "Yu Quiz on the Block" (hereinafter referred to as "Yu Quiz") featured national MC Im Sung-hoon, who marked his 50th anniversary in the industry.
That day, Im Sung-hoon revealed the behind-the-scenes of 'Love's Studio', which is the origin of dating shows in Korea. He said, "Out of the 1,432 couples that appeared, 47 couples ended up getting married. I was often asked to officiate the weddings, but I was in my 40s to 50s at that time. How could I officiate? A young person couldn't say, 'Until your black hair turns gray.' I asked for understanding, but that program is one that I truly remember among the shows I did."
Listening quietly, Yoo Jae-suk revealed, "I also appeared there. Was it a special feature for celebrities?" surprising Im Sung-hoon. Yoo Jae-suk shared, "I went there, danced the Dooly dance, and competed to appeal with four women, but I didn't succeed."
At that time, Yoo Jae-suk, aged 27, received the last vote, but he failed to match with a couple due to conflicting votes. Im Sung-hoon expressed his disappointment, saying, "Did it not work out back then? Oh, what a shame," and added, "I went to apologize to those who didn't match with me, saying, 'I'm sorry. The arrows should have flown together.'"
In response, Yoo Jae-suk remarked, "You didn't apologize to me," to which a flustered Im Sung-hoon quickly said, "I'm sorry," offering a late apology that brought laughter.
