Singer Lee Ru revealed his current status to celebrate his mother Lee Ok-hyung's (Ok-kyung's) birthday.
Lee Ru posted on the 13th, "HBD MY LOVELY MOM!" along with a comment saying, "Happy birthday to my beloved mom" and a photo.
The posted photo captures Tae Jin-ah taking a two-shot with his wife Ok-kyung on her birthday. Lee Ru took a warm two-shot of his parents on his mother's birthday, along with a beautiful cake, and added a warm comment saying, "Happy birthday, my beloved mom." Notably, Tae Jin-ah smiled brightly while looking at his wife, and his wife showcased a much brighter recent status than before, drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Tae Jin-ah married his wife Ok-kyung, who is one year older, in 1981 and they have two sons.
He surprised many by revealing during a broadcast he appeared on last year that his wife has been diagnosed with dementia and has been battling it for five years. Later, during KBS1's 'Morning Garden,' he noted about Ok-kyung's battle, "My wife's dementia symptoms have stopped. The disease is no longer progressing and has come to a halt, so I am very grateful."
