RIIZE is achieving a successful popularity journey in Japan.
According to the announcement from the Japan Record Association last week, RIIZE's first full-length album 'ODYSSEY', released on May 19, has obtained the Gold certification, which is granted when the cumulative shipment of singles and albums exceeds 100,000 copies as of July, proving its hot popularity locally.
Moreover, this album has again risen to No. 1 on the Japan Oricon Weekly overseas album chart (from July 28 to August 3), and after retaining the top position for two consecutive weeks on that chart, it has reclaimed the top spot among numerous new releases, making it the third overall rank.
Earlier, this album recorded a million-seller just a week after its release, topped the May Circle Monthly Retail Album Chart, ranked first on China's QQ Music digital album sales chart with a 'platinum' certification (sales exceeding 1 million yuan), and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Download Album Chart weekly, sweeping domestic and international charts.
In addition, the title track 'Fly Up' is a song that can be embraced by RIIZE's style of 'youth musical', and it has received love, achieving impressive results such as No. 3 on Melon TOP100, No. 1 on HOT100, No. 1 on Apple Music's Today's TOP100 in Korea, real-time No. 1 on Bugs, and rapid rise No. 1 on Vibe, also achieving five wins in music broadcasts.
Meanwhile, RIIZE, which is in the midst of its first world tour 'RIIZING LOUD', will continue its next performance on August 16 at IDEA LIVE KL in Kuala Lumpur.
