The original Disney+ series 'North Star' (directed by Kim Hee-won and Hur Myung-heng | written by Jeong Seo-kyung) has released character stills of actress Kim Hae-sook, who shows a strong presence as the President of South Korea.
'North Star' has released character stills of Kim Hae-sook as President Chae Kyung-shin. 'North Star' tells the story of 'Moon Joo' (Jeon Ji-hyun), who has built an international reputation as a UN ambassador, facing a massive truth that threatens the Korean Peninsula alongside a mysterious special agent 'Sanho' (Gang Dong-won), who must protect her amid the fallout from the assassination attempt on the presidential candidate.
Kim Hae-sook, who has transcended genres in films and dramas, gaining the title of 'national mother' while taking on various characters, will showcase her irreplaceable presence as President Chae Kyung-shin. Chae Kyung-shin is a figure with a firm political conviction, strong drive, and flexible charisma, active in various fields from diplomacy to politics. Although she valued 'Moon Joo,' who is active as a UN ambassador, enough to consider her for the Minister of Foreign Affairs, she began to keep him in check as the assassination attempt on the presidential candidate escalated politically and diplomatically.
The released stills heighten expectations for the character embodied by actress Kim Hae-sook, showcasing her resolute dignity and aura as the President of South Korea. 'North Star' will exclusively be available on Disney+ with three episodes released on September 10 (Wednesday) and two episodes every week starting September 17 (Wednesday), for a total of nine episodes.
