The band DAY6 has released a new regular album trailer film, marking the start of their 10th anniversary party.
DAY6 will announce their fourth regular album 'The DECADE' on September 5. JYP Entertainment presented the trailer film 'DAY6 4th Full Album 'The DECADE' Trailer Film' on August 13 through the group's official social media channels.
In a space filled with a dark static atmosphere, the party begins as a gray-haired conductor with a metronome sways his baton. Dressed in black suits, Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon blow out candles and cut the cake, causing the arrangement of dishes to become disordered. As the four members transition to a lively scene, playing like children and chatting with party guests, the video fills with vitality. In particular, the trailer film evokes the timeless classicism of DAY6's music by utilizing pearls as a motif.
The new regular album, to be released approximately 5 years and 11 months after their third studio album 'The Book of Us: Entropy' in October 2019, is expected to encapsulate the musical spectrum the group has built over the past 10 years. On August 30-31, they will hold a solo concert 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour 'The DECADE'' at Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City, commemorating their 10th anniversary and ushering in their comeback eve. The solo concert at Goyang Sports Complex, the first for a domestic band, will offer rich spatial and openness.
'Trustworthy' DAY6's fourth studio album 'The DECADE' will be available on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 5th of next month.
