Broadcaster Lim Seong-hoon revealed that his eldest son was the producer who directed the SBS variety show 'Running Man.'
On the 13th, Lim Seong-hoon appeared on the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block,' marking his 50th anniversary since debuting. On that day, Yoo Jae-suk noted, 'He is a senior in the variety industry and the one who helped me debut,' sharing a story about how they formed a connection through the college comedy festival in 1991.
During their conversation, Yoo Jae-suk asked, 'You've been broadcasting for 50 years; it seems like you might have lacked time with your family.'
In response, Lim Seong-hoon said, 'I hardly had any vacations. My eldest son didn't see the ocean until he was in the 4th grade of elementary school,' reminiscing about the time when family trips were difficult due to a busy schedule.
He recalled, 'It was only when I became a freshman in college that I flew on an airplane for the first time to Jeju Island. I was so moved that I recorded, saying, 'Finally, I'm flying on an airplane.'
Hearing this, Yoo Jae-suk burst into laughter, revealing that Lim Seong-hoon's eldest son is Lim Hyeong-taek, the former main producer of SBS's 'Running Man,' and he said, 'If I had known this story, I would have treated him a little better when I was broadcasting,' making the scene erupt with laughter.
