Im Seong-hoon from 'You Quiz on the Block' revealed that he is a fitness enthusiast.
In the episode broadcast on the 13th of tvN's entertainment show 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereafter 'You Quiz'), Im Seong-hoon, who is celebrating his 50th debut anniversary, addressed the rampant rumors surrounding him.
Im Seong-hoon, who has consistently exercised since his teenage years, stated, "Endorphins always surge when I exercise. The moment I change my clothes and put on the gloves, I feel like someone's gaze is on me. Standing in front of the punching bag is just so enjoyable."
Having mastered Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, and boxing, Im Seong-hoon was so much of a fitness enthusiast that rumors circulated about him being able to 'knock down two thugs' and being the 'number one fighter in the entertainment industry.'
Im Seong-hoon recalled the time when he was bullied due to his small stature, recounting how he learned to fight. He mentioned that while confronting a friend who used to bully him, he got beaten up but decided to take the initiative, saying, "After I went home that day, I cried all night and then decided to learn Taekwondo. After about a year, I figured out the tricks. When the kid who had been bullying me walked by, I cautiously asked, 'Want to take a look at me for a second?' To him, it must have seemed really ridiculous."
In that moment of confrontation, Im Seong-hoon countered by kicking the bully in the shins while he was attacking him, and he later stated that the bullying stopped. He explained, "I told him to stop bothering me. From the next day, whenever I encountered him in the hallway, he would avoid me. That's when I realized that exercising helps me feel more at ease. After that, I didn't really get into fights anymore."
