There is no one who doesn't know the songs of the group Koyote.
Koyote (Kim Jong-min, Shin Ji, Baekga) appeared on KBS Cool FM's "Park Myung-soo's Radio Show" broadcast at 11 a.m. on the 13th, sharing various stories with listeners from the behind-the-scenes of their new song activities.
On that day, Koyote first promoted their new song "Call Me." Baekga noted, "I got to work with composer Choi Jun-young, who made 'Pure Love', after 27 years. Shin Ji kept pestering Choi Jun-young to make it happen," he revealed. Park Myung-soo was surprised, saying, "'Call Me' topped the Kakao Music real-time chart and the Genie latest release chart."
Koyote, who immediately showcased a live stage of "Call Me," drew explosive reactions from listeners with an addictive melody, perfect live performances by the members, and a stage that truly captured the "flavor of Koyote." Park Myung-soo, after hearing the live performance, exclaimed, "This is my favorite style. I think they utilized the old melodies and today's EDM sources well. It's a song like 'Pure Love.'"
Recently, Shin Ji, who also managed activities on music broadcasts with "Call Me," remarked, "Nowadays, the younger generation is so young that it seems less uncomfortable." Baekga laughed, saying, "I'm worried the juniors might feel uncomfortable, so I quickly go for the recordings."
As Koyote's mega hit medley unfolded, listeners expressed, "There's not a song I don't know. They are truly a national group," and "If a Koyote song plays while walking, everyone would hum along. I hope they continue to be active for a lifetime," reinforcing Koyote's presence.
Koyote, who recently finished a performance in Sydney, Australia, reminisced, saying, "The staff also enjoyed it very much and asked us to come back. I felt good. Some people even cried while dancing with us." In response, listeners reacted, "Even I would shed tears. I'll definitely go to the national tour," expressing their expectations for Koyote's upcoming national tour.
Meanwhile, Koyote is scheduled to hold the "2025 Koyote Festival National Tour: Excitement" on September 7 in Daegu, September 20 and 21 in Seoul, November 15 in Ulsan, November 29 in Busan, and December 27 in Changwon.
