The 'Sixth Sense: City Tour' will return for season 2.
According to reports from OSEN on the 13th, the tvN entertainment program 'Sixth Sense: City Tour' will air season 2 in the second half of this year. The production team is intensively preparing for the show ahead of the first filming set for early next month.
According to the report, season 1 members Yoo Jae-suk, Ko Kyung-pyo, and Mimi will continue to appear. However, season 1 cast member Song Eun-i will depart, and Ji Seok-jin will join as a new member. It was confirmed that Song Eun-i faced difficulty joining season 2 due to another program airing at the same time.
'Sixth Sense' is an unpredictable variety show in which the cast searches for the fake hidden among the real, starting its first season in 2020 and airing up to season 3 in 2022.
Last year, 'Sixth Sense: City Tour' aired as a spin-off concept, showcasing the search for the one fake hidden among hot places and trendy issues.
In particular, Yoo Jae-suk and Song Eun-i drew attention as they reunited on air for the first time in about 20 years since SBS's 'Truth Game,' and Ko Kyung-pyo and Mimi, who showcased lively performances in various shows, joined the cast, bringing laughter.
They displayed clumsy and bumbling charms throughout the fake-finding process, earning the nickname 'Mungtukz,' and with the sharpest of them all, Song Eun-i, departing, there is anticipation for what they will show in season 2.
Additionally, in season 2 of 'Sixth Sense: City Tour,' Ji Seok-jin, Yoo Jae-suk's eternal 'Seok-sam' brother, will join as a new member, expected to showcase a vibrant chemistry with Yoo Jae-suk.
The program will be directed by Jeong Cheol-min PD, who has been the main director for 'Sixth Sense,' along with Jin Bo-mi PD, who has directed 'Let's Have a Meal' and 'Amazing Saturday.'
