Singer Song Ga-in, who set a new record for female trot singers through her fourth regular album, will release a new song in collaboration with legendary senior artists.
According to her agency, J Star, on the 13th, Song Ga-in will release the new song "Mambo of Love" on various online music sites at 6 p.m. on the 27th.
"Mambo of Love" is a song that hit songwriter Seol Woon-do wrote and composed himself as a gift for Song Ga-in. Featuring a lively drum that highlights the characteristics of the mambo rhythm, the track adds excitement with a refreshing brass line and fun synthesizer sounds in the trot genre.
This new song is particularly meaningful as it marks Song Ga-in's collaboration with Seol Woon-do following the pre-release track "I Shed Tears," from her fourth regular album produced by Shim Soo-bong, released last January. As "Mambo of Love" stands out for its upbeat atmosphere, Song Ga-in is expected to showcase a new side of herself through the choreography she has not shown before.
Along with this, Song Ga-in unveiled concept photos for her new song "Mambo of Love" on the morning of the 13th through her official social media and other platforms. Song Ga-in released her fourth regular album "Gain: Moon" last February, breaking a record by surpassing 20,000 copies in first-week sales, becoming the first female trot singer to do so and writing a new history in the Korean music industry. Recently, she demonstrated her status as a national treasure singer by winning both the Female Popularity Award and the Teen Singer Award at the SBS Trot Music Awards 2025.
