Lee Hyun-i asked K-will about his debut as a singer. K-will replied, "I was doing chorus for other senior singers and doing guide vocals, and then the song I guided was sold to a major agency, leading to my debut. I realized I could sing a bit when I was in the second year of middle school. The vocal genes come from my mother; when I returned from school, my mother was playing the guitar and singing, and I used to add harmonies to that."
