The legendary national drama 'Reply 1988' team reunites for a team building trip to 'Channel 15' to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
According to OSEN's coverage on the 13th, the production staff of the tvN drama 'Reply 1988' (written by Lee Woo-jung, directed by Shin Won-ho, abbreviated as 'Reply 1988') is planning a group outing to commemorate the 10th anniversary of its first broadcast. Director Shin Won-ho and writer Lee Woo-jung's production company Egg Is Coming will lead a trip to a location in Gangwon Province in October to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the work and strengthen their bond.
'Reply 1988' is a comical family drama set in Ssangmun-dong in the year of the double eights, featuring the lively lives of five families in one alley. This third installment of the 'Reply' series follows 'Reply 1997' and 'Reply 1994', and it first aired on Nov. 6, 2015, and was broadcast in 20 episodes until Jan. 16 the following year. Notably, 'Reply 1988' recorded the highest viewership rating of 18.8% (based on Nielsen Korea's paid broadcasting households), making it the most popular series in the 'Reply' franchise.
