The group ASTRO (from Fantagio) has officially debuted a new unit, ZOONIZINI (MJ & Jinjin).
ZOONIZINI released their first mini album 'DICE' on the 13th at 6 p.m. through various online music platforms.
ASTRO's main vocalist MJ (real name Kim Myung-jun) and main rapper Jinjin (real name Park Jin-woo) are starting their musical journey with the unit name ZOONIZINI, which combines their names. The debut album 'DICE' reflects their will to enjoy every moment without being bound by conventions, with Jinjin participating in the overall work. The six tracks are interlinked as unpredictable journeys in unfamiliar spaces where dice are thrown.
The title track 'Some Things Never Change' is an emotional hip-hop track that features simple yet addictive rapping and melodies. Jinjin wrote and composed the song, infusing ZOONIZINI's unique color. ZOONIZINI sings about the memories of their most naive times and friendships that will not change, evoking a nostalgic sentiment.
The music video for 'Some Things Never Change,' released with the music, presents a delightful energy with ZOONIZINI's lively chemistry. Their cheerful and rhythmic performance, following the bouncy beat, is expected to enhance the enjoyment of both watching and listening.
Including this, the first mini album features solidly completed six tracks that unfold ZOONIZINI's story of falling into a mysterious world, such as 'New World,' which features funky rhythms and sophisticated disco sounds in 'Utopia,' a song about cherished memories with friends titled 'Favorite Memory,' the upbeat pop rock genre of 'Starlight Voyage,' and 'Restart,' which instills excitement toward a new beginning.
MJ and Jinjin, who have established themselves as representative all-rounders of K-pop, are opening an exciting first page this summer with ZOONIZINI. ZOONIZINI will embark on their 'Some Things Never Change' activities with versatile talents, endless charm, and an unprecedented concept.
The mini album 'DICE' by ZOONIZINI (MJ & Jinjin) is available for listening on various online music platforms starting today (the 13th) at 6 p.m.
