Broadcast personality Lee Kyung-sil (59) expressed her feelings about the rumors that surfaced following her divorce.
In a video posted on the YouTube channel "New Woman" on the 12th, Lee Kyung-sil said, "At first, after the divorce, I was sad, but rumors that hadn't existed during my marriage started spreading," adding, "One of them was that I was romantically involved with a representative from an entertainment company."
Lee Kyung-sil mentioned the infidelity rumors surrounding her, saying, "They said I was going to Galleria every day with a corporate credit card given by that person to buy luxury goods. It's so specific."
She continued, "One day, a reporter called me with certainty. He said, 'I heard you go to the department store with a corporate credit card,' and I unknowingly cried, saying, 'I never even received a points card from my husband in the past,'" adding, "At that time, I didn't even know what a corporate credit card was, and I was sobbing uncontrollably."
Lee Kyung-sil expressed her disbelief, saying, "Later, I found out that the person involved in the rumor was another celebrity with a similar name to mine."
She then added, "Fortunately, they were all wealthy people and scandals. I joked, 'At least they paired me with rich people, which is not so bad,'" eliciting laughter.
Lee Kyung-sil is currently updating her life through TV Chosun's "Lovers of Joseon" alongside her daughter Son Su-a and son Son Bo-seung.
