The group Stray Kids delivers "unwavering belief" over a heavy hip-hop beat.
Stray Kids will release their 4th full-length album "KARMA" and the title track "CEREMONY" on the 22nd and make a comeback. Ahead of this, they are presenting various teasing content, and on the afternoon of the 12th, they released a teaser video for track 3 of the new album, "CREED."
In the video, the eight members exude presence as they roam like wanderers against the backdrop of a city in Europe. Against a dark trap hip-hop beat, they convey a commitment encapsulated in the lyrics, "I give life to my words (Yeah I'm doing what I say) I reach heights from the dirt You know I bite the way I bark (Yeah I'm doing what I say Doing what I say, doing what I say)."
Notably, at the beginning of the video, the summer flower trumpet vine catches the eye. Known to have the flower language of honor and glory, the trumpet vine is said to be toxic when honeyed. By symbolically utilizing the trumpet vine, which aligns with the group's spirit of following the right path, Stray Kids adds depth to their message through the teaser video as they make their comeback in the midst of August summer.
Stray Kids showcases a boundless musical spectrum with their signature teasing content "UNVEIL: TRACK" that introduces some of the album's songs prior to the official release. While the previously released track 1 "Bitter" had a stylish and hip feel, the newly revealed "CREED" delivers another charm with its weighty sound that supports the intense belief reflected in the title.
As a "self-producing group," Stray Kids has their names credited on all tracks of their newly released album "KARMA" for the first time in over two years. Having directly participated in the production of all songs since their debut track "District 9," they have evolved into "K-pop aces" who are sharing their unique and distinctive musical taste with fans worldwide, filling listeners' playlists this summer.
