The group AtHeart is signaling its official rise in the music industry and embarking on a global "Heart Attack" campaign.
AtHeart will release its first EP "Plot Twist" simultaneously worldwide through domestic and global music streaming sites today (13th) at 6 p.m.
The first EP's title track "Plot Twist" is a dance track that hybridizes POP and EDM, creating a "twist" in the song's development and emotional flow, as suggested by the title. The a cappella intro, which begins with the members' harmonies, illustrates a structure of consolidation that connects with the song's outro, leaving an impression as if one has completed a story. The dramatic transitions between a dreamy mood and energetic EDM sounds unfold not only in the music but also in the lyrics, offering an addictive charm that grows with each listen.
In particular, producer Jonah Shy, who has collaborated with Chapel Roan, Camila Cabello, and Shawn Mendes, contributed to the production and songwriting, enhancing the quality. Among the included tracks, "Push Back" features production and songwriting by Rykeyz, who has worked with Demi Lovato and Lisa, while "Knew Me" is enriched with the depth and sound quality contributed by Sermstyle, who has a collaboration history with Pitbull and Wiz Khalifa, and Manny Marroquin, who has mixed music for top artists like Sabrina Carpenter and Charlie Puth.
"Plot Twist" is an album that symbolizes AtHeart's first flap of their wings as they aim for a rise in the music industry. The girls bravely face their true selves with five songs that express various colors and emotions amidst the sometimes chaotic, sometimes heart-pounding, unpredictable flow. Meanwhile, AtHeart's first EP "Plot Twist" will be released simultaneously worldwide through various domestic and international music streaming sites today (13th) at 6 p.m., and a debut showcase will be held offline at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul at 7:30 p.m. the same day.
