Magic Strawberry Sound is launching its third collaboration with Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.
Magic Strawberry Sound will hold a curated performance titled 'MEETING ROOM 003: Confined White, Me and My Sandcastle' at the Seobo Art and Culture Space in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 30th at 7 p.m.
'MEETING ROOM' is a performance curated by Magic Strawberry Sound in partnership with Spotify. Similar to a meeting room where many gather to share ideas, it is a series of performances that brings together various domestic and international artists and audiences to create new stories together.
The third performance of 'MEETING ROOM' will feature the Korean band 'Confined White', which expresses the complex emotions of youth through music, and the indie pop project 'Me and My Sandcastle' led by Shanghai-based musician XiaoLiu.
On May 31, 'MEETING ROOM 001: Samyu, Jiyunhae, Enfants' sold out immediately upon ticket release, marking a successful start to the series of performances. Following this, 'MEETING ROOM 002: Dabda, Door Plant' also received acclaim as a new initiative by Magic Strawberry Sound and was held successfully, drawing attention from music fans.
In the future, Magic Strawberry Sound plans to hold a series of performances once a month, featuring both domestic and international artists, and will work to promote mutual exchange and expansion of artists throughout Asia.
Spotify will also create an official playlist composed of the best songs from the artists participating in 'MEETING ROOM,' and after the performance, a live set playlist will be presented. Offline promotions will be conducted, including a ticket event through Spotify Korea's SNS channels and outdoor advertising in Gangnam Station, along with playlist promotion.
Meanwhile, tickets for Magic Strawberry Sound's curated performance 'MEETING ROOM 003: Confined White, Me and My Sandcastle' are available for purchase from 8 p.m. today (12th) through Melon Ticket.
