Actor Im Won Hee confesses his earnest desire for marriage to comedian Kim Jun Ho.
In the episode airing today (12th) on Channel S's variety show 'Im Won Hee's Gourmet Show', Kim Jun Ho, who made headlines last month for his marriage to junior comedian Kim Ji Min, appears as a guest. Kim Jun Ho's unfiltered remarks from the start and the back-and-forth banter with Im Won Hee, who is flustered yet responds in kind, adds to the viewing enjoyment throughout the journey.
Im Won Hee expresses, "Once again, congratulations on your marriage. It was a wedding of the century with over 1,200 guests," and Kim Jun Ho notes, "I think it was the most extravagant among all remarriages in the world. Being in the same industry, I even secretly delivered all the congratulatory money to Ji Min," making the scene burst into laughter.
Then, Kim Jun Ho asks, "But why do you use honorifics with me? Is our four-year friendship only worth this? It feels uncomfortable," to which Im Won Hee responds, "I use honorifics for any guest... Viewers, please understand this program's first use of informal language," announcing the first informal presentation in the 'Gourmet Show'.
On a food tour, Kim Jun Ho reveals, "I am confident in grilling meat. Ji Min has fallen for my grilling skills while camping together," showing his pride. He continues, "To win over a beauty, you need to put in a lot of effort. If you just go eat alone like hyung, you will never reap the rewards," giving advice to Im Won Hee. Ultimately, he humorously refers to 'Im Won Hee's Gourmet Show' as 'Im Won Hee's Marriage Project'.
Im Won Hee expresses, "I loved the characters Jun Ho showed in the comedy corner," revealing his affection. In response, Kim Jun Ho shares, "I always contemplate returning to comedy with the members of 'Dokbak Tour'. I want to do it, but I struggle to try easily due to the surrounding gaze," conveying his sincerity.
At a store visited during their travels, a marriage congratulatory service for the couple, Kim Jun Ho and Kim Ji Min, draws attention. While examining the meal menu, Kim Jun Ho remarks, "This is something Ji Min likes; she also likes this kind of nurungji. After getting married, I only see what my wife likes," not hiding his 'lovey-dovey' side. When Im Won Hee asks, "You have two rings on your hand?" Kim Jun Ho jokes, "One is the ring I wore during dating, and the other is a ring that hyung doesn't have." Conversely, when Kim Jun Ho raises suspicion, saying, "Hyung, you have a bracelet on your wrist that I haven't seen before? Did you get a girlfriend?" Im Won Hee sweats, saying, "It's a gift from the camera director's daughter."
Then, Kim Jun Ho reveals why he gave a boutonniere to Im Won Hee at the wedding in July. "Hyung is the most urgent and eager. I know that hyung really wants it. Since you received the boutonniere, there should be good news within six months," he continues the marriage pressure. The broadcast is at 7 p.m. today.
