Comedian Jo Hye-ryeon revealed that she was caught up in rumors of being a pimp.

That day, Jo Hye-ryeon, in response to the comment, "I think there were a lot of rumors," said, "There was a story that I am a pimp," and "It was a huge mess claiming that I was the one overseeing prostitution," surprising everyone.
In response, Lee Kyung-sil said, "This is the first time I'm hearing this. Didn't you make it up?" expressing disbelief, while Jo Hye-ryeon responded, "I was so taken aback, claiming that I was connecting them and receiving a commission. Someone said, 'Jo Hye-ryeon is definitely not that kind of person,' and defended me. It was ridiculous," she lamented.
Lee Kyung-sil confessed about the rumors surrounding her, saying, "When I hear such absurd rumors, it makes things even harder when I'm struggling right now," and added, "After my divorce, I was sad, but there were rumors circulating that hadn't existed during my marriage."
She explained, "One of them was that I had an affair with a representative from an entertainment company. It was said that I was using the corporate card given by that person, going to department stores every day to buy things and luxury items. It was very specific."
She continued, "So one day, a reporter called, speaking with such certainty. I was crying without knowing why and said, 'I never received a points card from my husband in the past.' At that time, I didn't even know what a corporate card was. I was bawling my eyes out."
Lee Kyung-sil said, "But later I found out it was another celebrity with a similar name. That person mistook me for them. It was so absurd. Fortunately, it turned out they were all wealthy people who were involved in scandals," she laughed.
Finally, when asked if Jo Hye-ryeon had anything to say, she replied, "I am not a pimp. I am a goalkeeper," which brought laughter.
