The band DAY6 held a solo concert at Goyang Gymnasium, selling out all tickets.
DAY6 will host two concerts on Aug. 30 and 31 at Goyang Gymnasium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, kicking off their 10th anniversary tour 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour < The DECADE >'.
This concert held early ticket sales for the fifth generation of the official fan club My Day on the 8th, and general ticket sales will begin on the 11th. All tickets were sold out after the opening of general ticket sales for both days. DAY6's solo concert at Goyang Gymnasium will provide a rich sense of space and openness, marking the first time a domestic band has reached this venue.
The four members, Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon, have grown the scale of their performances from YES24 Move Hall in November 2015 to KSPO DOME in May 2025.
In April last year, approximately 34,000 seats at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, about 40,000 seats at Inspire Arena in September, and around 38,000 seats at Gocheok Sky Dome, which was the first entry for 'K-pop bands,' were followed by a solo concert at KSPO DOME, breaking the highest audience per performance record with about 16,000 attendees, totaling approximately 96,000 large-scale audiences over six performances. In particular, anticipation is high for the concert created by My Day and DAY6 under the sky, as the members have longed for an outdoor venue solo concert.
Meanwhile, DAY6 will release their 4th full-length album 'The DECADE' on Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. The new album will mark the announcement after about 5 years and 11 months since the release of their 3rd full-length album 'The Book of Us: Entropy' on Oct. 22, 2019.
