Model Kim Jin-kyung and soccer player Kim Seung-kyu shared the sadness of being a long-distance couple.

On this day, Kim Jin-kyung revealed that she departed for Tokyo, Japan, where her husband Kim Seung-kyu is. She married Kim Seung-kyu in June of last year. Kim Seung-kyu transferred from Al Shabab FC in the Saudi Professional League to FC Tokyo this year.
Kim Jin-kyung stated the reason for coming to Japan, saying, "I am going to Tokyo, Japan, to mark our first wedding anniversary. The reason I am in Japan is that today is our wedding anniversary. It just so happened that I came for a short two-night, three-day trip. Also, my husband had to go to Korea for a day due to his visa, and he came back and we ended up being together."
Kim Jin-kyung noted, "Although today is our wedding anniversary, I am thankful and happy just to be together. Until my husband arrives, I will enjoy a nice walk by myself," referencing the sorrow of long-distance couples.
Kim Jin-kyung also attended a match of FC Tokyo with Yokohama, who played in the 'Goal Daughters' Japan-Korea game. Although she was apart from her husband Kim Seung-kyu, she said, "Even though my husband is not here, I am getting to know my husband's colleagues."
After finishing her time in Tokyo and heading to the airport, Kim Jin-kyung asked Kim Seung-kyu when he said he was "thinking of Saudi Arabia," "Are you happy being alone again?" Kim Seung-kyu replied, "What are you talking about? We are one. Now we are halves of each other," and Kim Jin-kyung showed a satisfied smile.
As it was time for Kim Jin-kyung to leave, Kim Seung-kyu greeted her, saying, "Geikon kinembi omedeto (Congratulations on your wedding anniversary)," and they parted ways. Upon arriving in Korea, Kim Jin-kyung said, "Although it feels empty next to me, I can see him soon. The distance has become a bit less (than Saudi Arabia), so the sorrow has also decreased a bit."
