In the 328th episode of KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything' aired on the 11th, a person living in isolation from others appeared.
The person said, "I was bullied in school and have experienced many strange things in life, so I want to live in isolation from people," expressing concerns about whether it is okay to live this way.
When Lee Sugeun asked, "What happened during your school years?" the person revealed that "I suddenly started being bullied in middle school for some reason." The perpetrators constantly defaced the person's Cyworld shared diary with insults and sent messages saying, "I want to hit you with a steel pipe."
At first, the person endured it, but the grandfather asked the mother to check on what was happening as the person's demeanor gradually became darker. When the mother inquired, the person opened up about the school violence, which led the vice principal to intervene and put an end to the bullying.
Seo Jang-hoon asked, "Was everything fine in high school?" and the person replied that there were no issues with peer relationships. However, the person shared an experience where a middle-aged man they didn't know asked, "Can you sell stockings?" and, "Can I buy them for 20,000 won?" Seo Jang-hoon reacted with anger, saying, "What a crazy person."
The person also referred to another anecdote, saying, "A man with limited mobility came to me saying he has never held a woman's hand in his whole life, and it's his dream to hold a woman's hand." This prompted Seo Jang-hoon and Lee Sugeun to express their anger once again.
In response to Lee Sugeun's question, "Didn't you report it?" the person remarked, "Back then, with a pure heart, I reached out my hand, but he touched me inappropriately and wouldn't let go," adding, "My humanity diminished, and I ended up fleeing."
The person, who started working at a company at 19 while wearing a school uniform, said, "There were many strange things at that company." He recounted an incident where after a work dinner, the boss offered to give him a ride home and asked from the backseat, "I'm too drunk, but can I lay my head on your lap?" The person replied, "I don't think that would be appropriate," but the boss said, "It can work like this," and laid down with a bag on his lap.
Later, the person said, "I usually never meet people through social media. A soccer player kept sending me DMs. He didn't seem that famous. I thought he must be someone whose identity was verified since I found some information about him online, so I met him a few times and ended up dating him," adding that "he had never met a woman for more than 3 months," and that "by the third month, I received a DM from another woman saying that 'your boyfriend is hitting on me.' I informed my boyfriend about it and ended the relationship."
Meanwhile, the person stated that besides her husband, she has no close friends, saying, "I don't feel the need for it."
Seo Jang-hoon advised that as one goes through life, people who can be supportive will appear, saying, "Save your emotions. If you pour out too many emotions, it will ruin your life. Train yourself to maintain that balance."
