CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sung-hyun, Gun-ho) uploaded the conceptual performance film of the debut album's intro track 'GO!' to the HYBE Labels YouTube channel at midnight on the 12th. While the official music video released on the 11th focused on conveying the song's free-spirited atmosphere, this video shows the performance intensively.
The conceptual performance film was shot in Los Angeles, California. In the video, members dance freely while moving between intersections and buses. They convey freshness by blending the performance into everyday situations, such as casually greeting passersby and crossing the street. The camera follows the members' movements in a fluid, one-take style. CORTIS portrays dynamic energy solely through dance and expressive acting, without elaborate cut editing.
All five members participated in the overall creation of the hip 'GO!' choreography and are credited as co-choreographers in the ending credits of the conceptual performance film. From small movements to overall flow, their ideas are embedded throughout the performance. Thanks to this, they successfully infused their bold ambition to color the world with their hue into the choreography.
CORTIS significantly contributed to the creation of the video. They also participated in the direction of the official music video released on the 11th and co-wrote and composed 'GO!', showcasing their qualities as a 'young creator crew.'
CORTIS is set to debut on the 18th, garnering the attention of K-pop fandoms worldwide. On that day, the digital single for the title track 'What You Want' and the conceptual performance film will be released. The debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' will be officially released on September 8 at 6 p.m.
