The largest J-POP & iconic music festival in Korea, WONDERLIVET, is back.
On the 11th, the live entertainment brand LIVET and the production company WONDERROCK announced that they will hold 'WONDERLIVET 2025' from November 14 to 16 for three days at the second exhibition hall of Goyang KINTEX, revealing the first lineup of 28 teams.
Although it was the first event last year, WONDERLIVET has established itself as a representative music festival in Korea, featuring top J-POP artists and popular domestic musicians, promising a stage that transcends genre boundaries. Notably, among the 28 teams in the first lineup, 12 will visit Korea for the first time through 'WONDERLIVET 2025', heightening expectations for the festival.
On Friday, the 14th, the headliner will be the Japanese rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN, known as 'the musicians' musicians.' They will return to Korea for the first time in 17 years. The news of their appearance quickly became a hot topic, being cited as a 'big event' representing this year's WONDERLIVET.
Teams that are frequently mentioned in relation to 'music festivals' in Korea will also perform. Silica Gel, which has captivated fans with rock and psychedelic sounds, emotional group 10CM, and HANRORO, representing Generation Z, have all made the lineup. Additionally, NORAZO, well-known for their cheerful performances, will join to complete a diverse stage.
On Friday, the 14th, five artists making their first appearance in Korea will participate. Alongside the sensuous sounds of Aooo, DISH//, known for their hit song 'Neko,' KANA-BOON, representing youthful emotions, PEOPLE 1 with their unique rock sound, and TOOBOE, noted for their experimental sounds, will take the stage for the first time.
On Saturday, the 15th, the stage will be filled by artists crossing genres, including CUTIE STREET, who gained attention with the 'Is being cute not enough?' challenge, Omoinotake, loved for the drama 'Eye Love You' OST, and Rokudenashi, the star of the TikTok hit song 'Just one voice.'
On Sunday, the 16th, Kocchi no Kento, who took over short-form platforms with the 'Giri Giri Dance' challenge, and QUEEN BEE, who gained popularity with the ending song 'Mephisto' from the anime 'My Favorite,' will make their first appearance and meet the audience.
In addition, MAISONdes and UNISON SQUARE GARDEN will return for the second consecutive year, continuing their special connection with 'WONDERLIVET 2025.'
Co-host LIVET planned and organized concerts for Mrs. GREEN APPLE, SEKAI NO OWARI, and KESSOKUBAND this year, while co-host WONDERROCK successfully held 'THE GLOW 2025,' gaining recognition for its planning abilities. This festival is a large-scale project combining the experiences and capabilities of both companies, promising a high-quality stage.
Meanwhile, ticket reservations for 'WONDERLIVET 2025' will be available from 8 p.m. on August 20 through Melon Ticket and Ticket Link, with detailed information to be released later through official social media.
