In terms of viewership and buzz, it has made back-to-back hits, raising anticipation for whether the new record will be set in this third live broadcast. The 'Special Baseball Live Broadcast - Fireworks Fighters vs. Inha University' aired on June 22 recorded a household peak rating of 1.5% (Nielsen Korea paid broadcasting in the metropolitan area), while the nationwide peak viewership exceeded an astonishing 306,000 viewers. Additionally, the 'Special Baseball Live Broadcast - Fireworks Fighters vs. Dong-A University' aired on July 20 also reached a household peak rating of 1.5%, showcasing incredible popularity and an overwhelming fandom.
Amid the growing interest, the Yeoncheon Miracle team, the opponent for the third live broadcast, is a top independent baseball team that achieved three consecutive championships in the independent league.
